Meta PyCon 2024
Meta

As a freelance Art Director for Cogs & Marvel, I worked alongside the in-house and Meta developer teams to design and build an interactive space for the Pittsburgh-based PyCon 2024, the largest North American conference for the Python software language. Our design of the Meta booth leaned into the elevated tones of Meta’s parent brand, using lighting, materiality, curvature, and comfortable social spaces to create a sophisticated yet friendly space for attendees and Meta mates alike.

Client: Meta (via Cogs & Marvel) | Role: Art Director, Designer | Scope: Art direction, production art, digital and print signage, video assets and motion | Creative Director: Greg Schram | Producer: Andrew Lovold

Our screen graphics - featuring messaging throughout the event - looped on a TV accented behind it by bespoke lighting that reflected the Meta brand key gradient.

Illuminated against the unique Molo paper freestanding partition, the dynamism between the screen graphics and lighting display created a soothing an stylish effect.
